Tazkira
Tazkira , an interactive session on Sufism and Contemporary Art.
An initiative of Wajd designed for converging varied thoughts and minds on a single
focal point in a series of talks and lectures through gatherings and meetings. It is
the manifestation of a platform for exchange of spiritual talks and gradual
awakening of inner peace culminating in spreading of Sufi teachings. This makes
Tazkira an effective tool of spiritual learning and awakening.
The nature of these gatherings is informal, and the emphasis is on the exchange of
ideas pertaining to Sufism and its mystical-aesthetic contributions to global peace.
Wajd will organize the series frequently with diverse audience with the aim of
touching the inner humane part, and getting inspired with the contributions of Sufi
saints in this world. The gatherings will be based on the transcending topic of
“Sufism through Ages” which includes Sufi art, poetry, paintings, biographies,
music, dance & literature.
